NuQloud gives you one place for files, chat, mail, contacts, calendars, notes, tasks, appointments, and decentralized publishing.

Most users should begin with the default setup:

1. Create your NuQloud account with your invite token.
2. Open the NuQloud Dashboard.
3. Install the NuQloud PWA on your main computer.
4. Save your decentralized account backup file.
5. Install file sync on any computer where you want automatic backups.
6. Install mobile apps if you want phone notifications, photo backup, contacts, or calendar sync.
7. Request initial publishing credits if you plan to use decentralized apps or decentralized publishing.
8. Register a name when you are ready to publish or use identity-based decentralized features.

## What You Can Do With NuQloud

- Store and sync files across devices.
- Share files and folders privately or publicly.
- Chat, call, and meet with groups.
- Use web mail with your existing email accounts.
- Keep contacts and calendars in sync.
- Create notes in Markdown.
- Manage projects with Deck boards.
- Create appointment booking links.
- Publish selected files to the decentralized QDN layer.
- Open decentralized apps from the NuQloud Apps area.
- Use Q-Mail for secure Qortal-based messages.

## Web, Desktop, and Mobile

NuQloud works in the browser, as an installable PWA, and through compatible desktop and mobile apps.

The best daily experience is usually:

- Desktop: NuQloud PWA plus compatible desktop file sync.
- Mobile: NuQloud PWA plus compatible mobile files and Talk apps.
- Browser fallback: any modern browser can still access the normal web interface.

## Early Release Notes

During the current early release:

- Some compatible apps still display Nextcloud branding.
- Decentralized publishing is available from the NuQloud web/PWA interface, not from the mobile Files app.
- The mobile Files and Talk apps are useful for sync, uploads, notifications, chat, and calls, but they do not expose every NuQloud-specific decentralized feature.
