# Talk, Chat, Calls, and Meetings NuQloud Talk is for chat, audio calls, video calls, screen sharing, and team rooms. ## Start a Chat 1. Open Talk. 2. Search for a person or room. 3. Send a message. 4. Use attachments when you need to share files. ## Create a Room 1. Open Talk. 2. Create a new conversation. 3. Add users or groups. 4. Choose whether the room is private or link-accessible. 5. Name the room clearly. ## Calls and Meetings In a room, use the call button to start an audio or video call. Common meeting tools: - Mute/unmute microphone. - Enable/disable camera. - Share screen. - Send chat messages during the call. - Invite participants. ## Mobile Talk App Until NuQloud has its own branded mobile Talk app, use the compatible Talk mobile app. Use it for: - Chat notifications. - Audio and video calls. - Quick replies. - Mobile meeting access. ## Desktop Notifications The compatible desktop sync app and Talk app can help provide desktop notifications, depending on your operating system and browser permissions. If notifications do not appear: 1. Check browser notification permissions. 2. Check operating system notification settings. 3. Check Talk app settings. 4. Make sure Do Not Disturb is disabled. ## Decentralized Talk Bridge Some NuQloud deployments include a Talk bridge for selected decentralized group messages or announcements. If enabled, your provider will tell you: - Which rooms are bridged. - Who can configure bridge mappings. - Which messages are relayed.
