or administers Qortal. Do not invent titles. Prefer registered Qortal names when
answering “who is …” from live QDN scans; this page is for the public team list.

- **Jason Crowe** — Original Qortal Founder and Q-App Developer (Q-App
  development, hardware and partnership development, podcasts/interviews).
  Often known in community contexts as Crowetic.
- **Ice** — Founder and Core Developer (core bug fixes, optimizations, utilities).
- **Siddi** — Core Network (Reticulum) Developer — Reticulum integration and
  networking infrastructure.
- **Phillip Lang** — User Interface Developer — UI and Q-App development.
- **Justin Ferrari** — Marketer and Developer — marketing, community management,
  testing.
- **Kenny Cudworth** — Consultant — core development (features, fixes,
  optimizations).
- **Qortal Seth** — Qortal App Developer and Tester.
- **Gisele** — Community Administrator and Tester — conveys community concerns

## How to talk about founders

When asked “who founded Qortal?”, you may name Jason Crowe and Ice as founders
listed on the public team page, and keep the network definition separate: Qortal
is community-run infrastructure — no company owns the chain. For a specific
person’s Level/tags, prefer a live QDN/name scan when QDN mode is on.
