Set Up Mobile Access

NuQloud works on mobile through the NuQloud PWA and compatible mobile apps.

During the early release, some apps may still show Nextcloud branding. Use your NuQloud server address and NuQloud login.

Recommended Mobile Setup

Most users should install:

• NuQloud PWA for the Dashboard, account tools, decentralized apps, and decentralized publishing.
• Compatible Files mobile app for file browsing and photo auto-upload.
• Compatible Talk mobile app for chat, calls, and notifications.
• Calendar/Contacts sync if you want phone integration.

Android

NuQloud PWA

1. Open NuQloud in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Samsung Internet.
2. Sign in.
3. Use the Install NuQloud App button or browser menu.
4. Add it to your home screen.

Files Mobile App

1. Install the compatible Files app.
2. Add an account.
3. Enter your NuQloud server address.
4. Sign in.
5. Enable auto-upload if you want photo backup.

Contacts and Calendar

For Android system-level Contacts and Calendar sync, use a CalDAV/CardDAV sync app such as DAVx5.

General setup:

1. Install DAVx5 or another compatible CalDAV/CardDAV sync app.
2. Add an account using your NuQloud server address.
3. Sign in.
4. Select the calendars, contacts, and tasks you want to sync.
5. Open your phone Contacts or Calendar app and confirm the NuQloud account is visible.

iPhone and iPad

NuQloud PWA

1. Open NuQloud in Safari.
2. Sign in.
3. Open the Install NuQloud App link from the Dashboard.
4. Tap Share.
5. Tap Add to Home Screen.
6. Launch NuQloud from the home screen icon.

Files Mobile App

1. Install the compatible Files app.
2. Add your NuQloud server.
3. Sign in.
4. Enable photo backup if desired.

Contacts and Calendar

You can add NuQloud as a CalDAV/CardDAV account in iOS settings or use a compatible app.

General setup:

1. Open iOS Settings.
2. Go to Calendar or Contacts account settings.
3. Add a CalDAV or CardDAV account.
4. Enter your NuQloud server address and login.
5. Enable the calendars and contact books you want.

Current Mobile Limitations

• The compatible Files app does not expose NuQloud decentralized publishing actions.
• The compatible Talk app does not expose NuQloud decentralized app/browser features.
• Use the NuQloud PWA for Dashboard, decentralized publishing, NuQloud Apps, and account tools.
