NuQloud Mail is a webmail client. It lets you read and send mail from an existing email account inside NuQloud.
What You Need
Ask your email provider for:
- Email address.
- Email password or app password.
- IMAP server and port.
- SMTP server and port.
- Security type, usually SSL/TLS.
Add an Email Account
- Open Mail.
- Add account.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter the password or app password.
- If automatic setup fails, enter IMAP and SMTP settings manually.
- Send a test email to yourself.
Common Mail Features
- Read and send email.
- Search mail.
- Attach files.
- Save attachments to Files.
- Use folders.
- Mark messages as important.
- Handle calendar invites if supported.
App Passwords
Some email providers require an app password instead of your normal password.
Use an app password when:
- Your email account uses two-factor authentication.
- Your provider blocks normal password login from mail clients.
- Automatic setup fails even though your password is correct.
Mail vs Q-Mail
NuQloud Mail is for normal email accounts.
Q-Mail is for secure Qortal-based messages. It is separate from normal email and may require a registered name and publishing credits.
